Faskally Caravan Park Terms & Conditions and General Information

Faskally Caravan Park is a family holiday park that caters for touring caravans, motor caravans,
hiring caravans and chalets. Our guests’ enjoyment and safety is paramount and therefore we ask
you to read the following Terms and Conditions before making your booking.

Touring Caravans
Advance Bookings

Advance bookings are essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays, Easter and during July and
August. At time of booking full contact details are required and payment of a non- refundable
deposit, made by credit/debit card. Payment of the remaining balance is due on arrival. Full payment
can also be made at time of booking. If the booking is cancelled you will be entitled to a full refund
less £25 deposit.


Booking Confirmation
Following your booking and confirmed deposit you will receive a receipt confirming your payment.
Please bring your booking receipt with you when checking in at the reception/shop.
Pitch allocation.
Pitches are allocated on arrival. We cannot guarantee that pitches booked together will be beside
each other on site, but we do try. Please park your caravan with jockey wheel on the slab marker.
Caravans pitched in the top field should be facing downhill. Caravans at the play park should have
their tow bar facing the road.

Minimum Stay
• Touring Caravans and Motor Caravans
3 nights for the following dates
Easter and May bank holiday weekends
2 nights for all other dates
Easter and May bank holiday weekends and all dates in July and August
2 nights for all other dates
Arrival/Departure – Tourers
Your arrival is welcome from 1pm onwards. On arrival please check in at the shop/reception. If
arriving after 9pm please let us know in advance. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of
departure, late checkouts are possible, please check with the reception on the morning of
departure.
Extended Stays
Extensions can be arranged, subject to availability, please check with reception. This may require
moving to a different pitch.


Hiring Caravans & Chalets
Booking Confirmation

prior to start of holiday.
Payment
For holidays of a week or longer a £150 deposit (per week) is due at time of booking, with full
payment due 28 days prior to start of holiday. For short breaks a £100 deposit is due at time of
booking, with full payment due 28 days prior to start of holiday. All published prices include VAT and
are subject to change without prior notification. Payment can be made in cash, credit/debit card.
Sorry we no longer accept cheques.
Cancellations
In the event of you having to cancel your booking you are required to notify us by telephone as soon
as possible. A minimum of 28 days written notice (letter or email) in advance of arrival date will be
required from anyone wishing to cancel their booking. If more than 28 days notice is given, the
booking may be re-arranged to another available date within the season or alternatively a refund
can be given (less deposit). Customers are advised to have their own cancellation insurance cover as holidays
cancelled within 28 days will not be refunded.
Arrivals - after 4pm, although entry can be earlier if the accommodation is ready.
Departures - please vacate your accommodation by 11am on the day of departure. Please leave your
accommodation in a clean and tidy condition, with rubbish disposed of in one of the refuse
collection bins. Additional charges will be made if accommodation is left in an untidy condition. All
breakages will be charged.

Linen– Duvets and pillows are provided; please bring your own linen and towels.
Smoking – No smoking is permitted in our hiring accommodation. Ash trays are provided for use
outside the caravan to prevent littering.
Pets – Sorry we do not allow pets into any of our hiring accommodation.

Party size -Our caravans and Chalets sleep 4/6 people, due to health and safety this should not be exceeded.


General Conditions
Noise
Please consider your neighbours at all times especially from 10pm-8am. No noise after midnight
please. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave the park.
BBQs/Open Fires
Open fires are not permitted on the park. When using disposable BBQs, do not allow contact with
the grass. For your own safety and others, please take care when disposing of used BBQs. Do not
place them into the refuse bins until they are completely out and cooled down. (This can take a
couple of hours) All BBQs must be out by 11pm.
Groups/Age restrictions
Sorry we do not allow single sex groups or unsupervised young groups (under 21). As we are a family
holiday park we cannot accommodate those using caravans for residential or employment purposes.
Swimming Pool
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Due to health and safety
regulations children under 12 are not permitted in the spa, sauna and steam room.
Children
Parents are responsible for providing supervision of their children whilst on the park and in all
buildings. Children must not be allowed to play in toilet/shower facilities.
Litter
Litter must be placed in the many bins provided around the park. The irresponsible discard of litter,
by any person, adult or child will not be tolerated.
Speed

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the park but must be kept on leads at all times. Fouling must be cleared up at
all times and disposed of in the bins provided or in any other refuse point. No pets are permitted in
our hiring caravans, chalets or any buildings.
Conditions of Booking
We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any guest(s) whose party make-up or
behaviour interferes or may interfere with the general comfort of other guests. Faskally Caravan
Park and its facilities are intended for family holidays.
Liability
Anyone found defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the Park faces
immediate eviction. Your vehicles and their contents are left at your own risk. Customers must
ensure that their property is secure and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality. By booking
with us you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions.
Data Protection
The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing
your reservation with us. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to
keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you. If you do
not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please
let us know. We may also disclose your data to CampStead Ltd who may contact you, inviting you to
complete a questionnaire and review regarding your stay at our park.
